Excellent beginner's hike. A nice easy 3 miles with really no resistance. Beautiful pine trees!

This place gets VERY muddy if it's just rained, or it's thawing out after a warm/cold cycle. The east side of the park (to the right from the entrance) is much more muddy than the west side. That said, it's a great little park with some technical sections if you know where to go. The pine trees are fun and interesting to go through.nnOverall a good little park. The structures and trail could use some improvement, but I kind of enjoy the character it gives the place. Parking can be tight on the weekend as well. Anyway, expect mud. You've been forewarned ;)

It’s not the best in the world but not the point. It’s so close to home and a pretty cool bike trail especially after it rains it’s fun to get dirty, it’s a nice little day at the park hiking biking picnicking, a good time.

Hubby and I primarily went here for a quick spin on our mountain bikes. You do share the paths with hikers but the trails were still great for mountain biking. This was definitely very wet but the terrain was nice, very full of roots. There are a few obstacles that you can challenge yourself with and some climbing. It took us about 45 min to an hour to complete the loop. Would suggest this as a good beginners path or if you bought a new bike and wanted to get a feel for the place.

Pretty average state forest with well maintained trails.
