When my parents moved in we were all understandably nervous. But Brookdale and the wonderful staff took every opportunity to ensure my parent's transition was as smooth as possible. Director Jamie and her staff were also happy to give us updates on my parents anytime we called. Fast-forward a year and a half and the caring staff still has the same energy and compassion they exhibited on day one. The peace of mind this gives us is priceless. The facility has been updated to enhance the comfort of the residents and make it feel even more like home. I even recommended Brookdale to my Aunt and now she is a new resident as well. My family would like to extend our highest rating to Team Brookdale of Lakeridge. Even though our families comments are important, the real valued comments comes from my mom. My mom was living several states away from her family and after the passing of my dad we had no idea how to care for mom. So we turned to Brookdale and have never looked back. My mom LOVES everything about Brookdale living, even when I visit she's more worried about missing GREAT activites than hanging out. They have so many things to keep her stimulated. This community truly epitomizes the gold standard of senior living. Having worked in the senior industry for over 20 years, I have come to know and love the team at Brookdale Lake Ridge. Their dedication to caring for their residents, families and each other is what makes them exceptional at what they do and a wonderful option for those in search of a place to call home. Brookdale Lake Ridge provides a homelike environment both aesthetically and philosophically. The tenure of their leadership staff speaks volume, especially in an industry oftentimes burdened by high staff turnover. I have found Brookdale to be one of the best assisted living facilities in Prince William county. The staff is friendly and they really care about the residents. The facility is nicely decorated and the service is excellent. I highly recommend them.
