We really enjoyed the first battle loop. Great combination of easy hiking with historical sites. Even on a nice Saturday, the paths were wide enough to social distance. Our dog loved it too!

Obviously the park itself is historic and incredible, but the people working/volunteering here are great too. For example, it was 100+ degrees outside and we were feeling it, but a costumed interpreter invited us to sit under a tree and handed out bottles of Gatorade (for free) to help us cool off. Nice!

This is a beautiful and informative park. My mom and I took our pup for a walk here, and all three of us loved it! There are multiple different trails, and the park is huge! It is very well maintained, with walkways that traverse the marshy sections. It is a very peaceful and hallowed park, with lots of history and interesting factoids spread throughout. There are also lots of wildlife, and the scenery is breathtaking!

It’s not as famous as other parks in VA so it doesn’t get too crowded. It’s a pleasant area for walking.

It's a historic park. Lots of great hiking trails, including some that are open to riding horseback, if that's your thing. Not a lot of facilities although they're hardly necessary given it's proximity to Manassas and other towns. I bring my daughters and my dog there, leashed. (The dog, not daughters.) Come springtime, especially, bring bug repellent and be sure and check for ticks. The main building has rangers and some historical presentations and artifacts. Very friendly.
