Killer place to get off the trail.nMany camp spots even if shelter is full.nWater is .25 miles down the hill, depending on ability it's 20-40 mins round trip from shelter to water and back. Ground sites are a lil closer.
A very nice and well kept shelter. The tent sites are a little rocky but flat. Great place to sit and have lunch when it isn't busy.
Great camp site and shelter. Water source nearby was helpful and decent privy
Nice place. Too bad I hiked out on a sunday late and when I arrived there were already FOURTEEN people there, all taking over the shelter area like it was their own private resort. Tried to camp down at the sites but the noise and foot traffic was like sitting in the mall.
Long walk to water, but great shelter.
