Good hiking trail here for families that intersect often so you can shorten or lengthen as you desire. Best to start/ park at the visitors center. Baseball fields on the other side are incredible!

Claude Moore Park, a quaint park to view the Lanesville Heritage Area located in Sterling, VA. Mostly, visited by pet owners for its nice walking paths and beautiful trees and grassy areas as well. Upon my visit I didn't expect to find homes from George Washington's era and road maps explaining the history surrounding the road, which originally covered a much larger area, but a small part of it preserved for the sake of history. Furthermore, you'll find some interesting farming equipment from prior eras that are worth observing and learning about because there is history here in this park. The visitors center can provide information and access to this parks lake and paths. So, i works definitely stop there first to get information to make this park visit worthwhile.

Nice place to walk. I have been living in this areas for a few years and never had a chance to visit. Staying home always during the pandemic made me to explore quiet places for a walk and this is perfect.
