So far its been great. Front desk was pleasant, suite has been awesome. Area is quiet, in a commercial district on the edge of what appears to be. A higher end townhouse complex. Ive walked my dog a few times already and haven't encountered any problems with neighbors.

Four stars easily because it's one of the very few hotels that offers 2 bedroom suites with 1 king size bed and 2 queen size beds in the other bedroom, plus a decent sized living room and kitchenette, all at a very reasonable price of $99 on stays of 30 days or longer. We stayed for 45 days, and it was really a life saver pending travel overseas. They should consider cleaning the carpets more frequently, but that's a problem at any hotel. The gym is pretty nice, but the business center was out of service during the 2nd half of our stay. The cleaning people are very good and quite helpful.

The rooms and front desk are good, but the company it attracts is not. We didn't sleep all weekend and had a load of laundry stolen from the laundry room. We will be staying somewhere else next time we are in DC/VA.

This Sonesta location is good, very clean, & comfortable beds, it is a little dated but it wouldn't be a deal breaker. Definitely would stay here again, give it a try.
