So beautiful! An excellent place to stop.

Very beautiful scenic views of Virginia's mountain ranges-- both Allegheny and the Blue Ridge! Great place to stop off at and eat lunch or a dinner. Two separate areas for those traveling in either direction.nBonus suggestion: If coming from Pulaski, stop off at Tom's Drive-in.

The views here are very nice. It's a good place to stop in to just rest a bit and maybe get a little leg stretching. I enjoy history, so I was intrigued by the fact this is an old rest area. Unfortunately it has been neglected. There are no available restrooms. There is a shelter, but it looks like it's been awhile since it was last used as a maintained picnic shelter. There are remnants of other structures around. My daughter enjoyed exploring the area.

Nice overlook. Great views of the sunset and sunrise during certain times of the year.

Very neat overlook with decent sized parking on both sides of the road - No restrooms or picnic tables just a fantastic view of the mountains.nCould be a great impromptu picnic area.nCritter proof garbage can is located on the west side parking area.
