Outstanding English pub and I am English so I truly do know..nnAuthentic Bangers and Mash and Fish & Chips for Brit food, and their burgers are excellent.nnExcellent service, convivial though strange setting next to the graveyard makes it feel like the English village I lived in back home (I am now seriously considering buying a plot as I can't think of a better resting place than next to the pub ;-)nnI have only eaten English food of this standard once before in the US (Churchill's in Savannah GA) and I very highly recommend it.
This is such a local treasure. We wish the bar area was bigger because the atmosphere is great and there is limited seating. The fish and chips are about the best around. Friendly and convenient...just right after a day of hiking in Shenandoah National Park.
The food was under cook
Most amazing burgers and fries! Other food is great, but after a long hike nearby, that meal hits the spot. A little pricey for me, but always worth it! Super friendly staff too!
Absolutely fantastic! A little pricey, but the atmosphere and the food is top notch. Like being back in Ireland, although it's definitely more of an English pub.
