Read the contract, they won't tell you this but it's a 1 year contract and even tho the master and his wife will tell you that you can cancel anytime, you cannot. Then the company that holds the contract for payment is very unprofessional and basically will just deny your request to cancel the contract. I moved away (the distance I moved really doesn't matter), I got a different job with different hours and I could no longer attend classes yet they will not let me cancel despite my requests and proof of not being able to attend classes. Horrible gym don't waste your time, money, or emotions here. Go elsewhere or just read the contract all the way, don't listen to the people telling you what the contract says. Always heard the stories about bad contracts and honestly thought I did enough skimming over the contract to tell what was in it but nope.. this what I get but I hope this review will prevent others from this unprofessional company. The gym itself was fine I did enjoy the grand masters lessons while I could attend.

BEWARE! lengthy post but worth reading if you are considering having a child or yourself go to this establishment... read your contracts carefully! EVERY detail before choosing to sign up with these people! Their English is extremely hard to understand and it wasn't clear to me then but you sign a contract for a year and it is UNBREAKABLE...at least at minimum $165 per month for an entire year... you cannot pull your child out... they work with a horribly run financial company to deal with their business ( Global Financial) these people have heavy Asian accents as well and are hard to understand and deal with. My son needed to be pulled out because of COVID restrictions requiring that he wear a mask AND face-shield while exercising, he has exercise induced asthma, we have never done any form of karate or martial arts and were not aware of the intensity of exercise they do every class, which is made even more difficult having to wear a mask, so we went through all of the proper channels to have him medically excused from the class and GLOBAL FINANCIAL DECLINED IT!! they said its pre-existing ... although COVID restrictions were not... now, even though my son MEDICALLY can no longer participate, they are still gouging our pockets for money every month! This system they have set up in place is ridiculous and I am VERY UNHAPPY with both the World Martial Arts center AND their dealings with this horrid company, Global Financial! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I recommend finding somewhere else to go where you CAN pull your child out, should a medical need arise!

Grand Master Lee is exactly the person you would want as an instructor. He is professional and very knowledgeable about the martial arts. He has taught at the highest levels and commands the respect of his students. He has an obvious love for the kids. We are very happy with the instruction he has given our son. I suspect we will be attending classes here for a long time.

Good people teaching self defense

The best Instruction and the most qualified TKD school in the area. Grand Master K. H. Lee is very qualified to teach children and adults in TKD, hand to hand combat, kickboxing and many other methods. Great school! (13+ year Student)
