Inspired Electrical Solutions installed a Generac Standby Generator for us and went totally above and beyond the service we expected them to provide. The installation was professionally performed by Serge and his partner who did an excellent job and cleaned up when they finished! We had quite a problem coordinating the gas installation and permit with the gas company, and the owner (Joe) of Inspired Electrical Solutions worked directly with them to get the job completed. Additionally, even though he finished the work he needed to accomplish, Joe stayed basically all day to ensure the gas company completed their installation and then showed us how the generator worked. In our experience, not many businessmen would stay with a client all day to show them how to operate their generator, most would simply reschedule and send out an employee. In the future, if we need any electrical work, Inspired Electrical will be the first company we call. It is obvious how important customer service is to this company!

We have had nothing but problems since Inspired Electric installed our whole house Generac Guardian 16KW generator and Transfer Switch in 2016. After initial install, the crew left the yard strewn with cigarette butts and scraps of copper wire and insulation. They left a gaping hole in the basement wall. They failed the county inspection twice. The first time, the crew member was unfamiliar with the type of gas valve installed and so he could not turn on the gas supply. The second time the piping into the generator was wrong, requiring re-work. Inspired was a subcontractor to Lowe's. Inspired evidently hired a plumber as their subcontractor for gas piping. The plumber called me several weeks after the install to indicate that Inspired had never paid them and I had to call Lowe's to get that straightened out. Due to improper placement of the Transfer Switch by Inspired and failure to properly seal it from water intrusion by leaving a gaping hole, the Relay shorted out twice. This required manual intervention every time the power went out to turn on the generator by manually activating the transfer switch. After water intrusion continued, the Generator began to randomly cut on and off due to short outs since the transfer switch was improperly installed and allowed massive water infiltration.
