It's a nice area with plenty of fishing spots. Was a bit crowded but trout was released a few days back which always brings the crowds.
I am a kayaker who also loves to fish! This is an electric motor only lake, which is most kayakers favorite. It's very peaceful, fish were biting, and very easy access. Bathrooms/port a potties available on site, as well as a small store. Overall great place to spend the day!
The scenery was beautiful!!! We saw plenty of birds, the Little Blue Heron, the green Heron, lots of Canadian Goose, plenty of wood ducks and a pair of white birds. I think they are Egrets. We fished from sunrise for about 3 hours but, didn't catch any fish. The water was smooth as glass.
So beautiful I stayed another week. Peaceful, quiet and the area is rolling hills and farms. Loved it and will definitely return.
