Nice walk on a windy day. We saw the horse, they were far away, we also saw deer and squirrels and lots of native trees. Nice walk with family. Took about 1.5 hours full trail The pony trail circle back to the bi alive trail on a loop.
Looking for the Ponies? This is the best place to hike and see the horses on their watering hole.nnThis is the best spot they hangout and eat. There is an over look thats the best part to watch the horses.nnLook for the sign Pony trail and follow the trail that leads to the wooden board walk that overlooks a mashland. First time i came here there were 7 horses close by and more from the distance.
From May through at least October, WEAR BUG SPRAY especially during the morning and at dusk when the mosquitoes are the most active. You will be bitten at least 20 times in five minutes if you don’t especially if it rained that night.
Loved it, hiking trails were nice!
