What a gem! There is only a small parking lot for 11 cars and when it fills the park is at capacity but I think that makes it feel all the more special. We were only one of two cars when we arrived just before sunset on a Saturday in March. It was a bit chilly (especially with the wind) but still a lovely walk along the shoreline. It felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Soft sand and little waves crashing on the shore. It is a nice size shoreline so got a good little walk in. So glad we found this place.

Highly recommend this little gem of a spot. There was almost no one there, now with that being said he was very swampy and wet from the previous rains. Definitely wear sneakers or some kind of hiking boots just to get through the marsh part to the sand. The beach part was very pretty and goes for a ways. Tons of shells and crab husks. Serene and quiet.

Peaceful, natural and perfect place to begin a new year. A little hike to the water edge. Much longer if you follow the beaten path, though. Listen for the sound of the water and cut through the woods to it. Look out for places puddled!

Perfect place to take a picnic and watch the birds in the tidal marshes. It only accommodates 11 cars in the parking lot at a time so it is never crowded.nIt has a couple of elevated observation posts where you can make good use of binoculars, or you can walk along the beach for a couple of miles smell the briny It and clear your mind.

Beautiful area, worth the visit, great area for bird watching, I plan on visiting once a season at least to see the changing plant community.
