Island gym is excellent and there are more than enough free weights, benches, squat racks, ab/pull up station, Hammer Strength machines, and more to get and keep yourself in excellent condition from novice to the Hulk. And the gym also includes a very nice indoor pool and it sits on the water with a million+ dollar view. A+ location rt near the bridge into town. I'll Be Back!

The island gym is the best gym I have ever seen anywhere in the country..hands down without any doubt..anyone who wrote a bad review about this place is either a competitor who is jealous..or a lazy wanna be that has nothing better to do but belly ache cause they can't find someone to do the workout for them or just plain RUDE!!..this gym has it all..reggie is the best trainer I have ever been fortunate enough to meet..i got more results in the island gym in 3 months..than any other gym or by training alone in 3 years..the trainer is in on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays and will help u make sure u don't waste your time if u want...it has all the equipment u will ever need..a seperate cardio room with best view of Chincoteague island bay and the bridge causeway that u could ever want..and is still way more affordable than any other place u could find anywhere hands down..the owner will go out of his way to make sure u get as good a workout as u are willing to do..and has a license to train people..if u can't get healthy at island gym on chincoteague Virginia ..then u can't do it anywhere..if u go there once and are serious about getting healthy..U WILL COME BACK..A++++ gym and service!!!..try it once..you'll be back..come work out with us??!!

Old crappy equipment, the old lady at the front desk is rude as hell. Met the owner in the gym as well, he's an old bodybuilder, he also couldn't care less about customer service or even being polite.nnStay far away from this place.
