Police at this department clearly need better training and more of it. Most time is spent trying to catch and scare teenagers. I’ve been out of high school for years and the other day at the Sheetz in Forest after buying some things I went back out to my car to wait on a couple of my friends to get there and one cop creepily pulled up to us and stared at us from a distance until his “much needed” backup could arrive. The officers approached my car and began asking vague questions, providing almost no information to us, and looking in our cars assuming we were young and up to no good. In a nutshell it became a damn crime scene investigation and almost 40 minutes of my life were wasted just so they could tell me not to loiter. Had the one officer just told us that right away I would not question the intelligence of this department, but from what i have been able to gather many of your officers need to go back to the academy and learn to pursue real criminals rather than be a boogeyman.
