Growing Adventures Child Care

Our son has been attending Growing Adventures now for about 6 months. He is currently in the older toddler room with Miss Jen 3 days a week. As a parent the biggest concern we have is the care our children are receiving when we are not around. Are they ok, are they fitting in, do the receive the same nurture and love we give at home? I never have to worry about these things. My son comes in with a big smile on his face happy to see his teacher. He runs to her for a morning hug. His vocabulary has skyrocketed. He continues to learn and grow at the pace he needs. She assists in our routine with potty training and learning to use utensils. The Director Pam is unbelievably knowledgeable about the children in the facility. She sends the parents updates about events, COVID related items, helpful tips and tricks and so much more! This has been the best transition we could have made for our son and I would recommend them 100x over! You guys rock, your staff is tremendous and we love the care you provide to our family! Keep it up!

My 2 year old daughter is always happy coming here. The amount of toys & activities they have for the kids is so much more compared to many daycares in the area. Their teachers are the best you can ask for: always friendly, interactive & always punctual (I arrive right when they open everyday & they are always ready for us). Everyday I get pictures sent to my phone of my girl enjoying all the activities there. They take every precaution when it comes to the children’s health, especially when it comes to anything covid related. There are days now where my daughter doesn’t want to leave right away because she is having so much fun.nThe staff are truly amazing! They send out calendars with the meals & special events. They have informative newsletters & send out emails regarding anything important, including food & diaper drive events & factory recalls.nWhen my daughter got covid (not from the daycare, from her fathers house), not only were they super nice & professional & prompt in their reaction to the case, but they also made sure to send us a dinner from a restaurant of our choice to help lighten the load. I at first didn’t want to accept but they were persistent in their wanting to help so I of course obliged because who doesn’t want free food?nTruly the best daycare I could ever ask for. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The daycare is conveniently located, well set up with lots of fun summer activities. As a primary parent i enjoy the flexible hours and that they make a true effort to not close for long holidays. They request a week ahead payment but i feel that is a completely reasonable request. I have been a day or two late on a few occasions but as long as i send an email service has not been refused.

Absolutely awful experience with this daycare. They make you pay a week ahead (which is fine) except they refused to take my kids today because they weren’t signed up which I would understand except I spoke with an employee at the daycare and she told me that the sign up was for school aged children and that it wouldn’t effect the care for my kids. I have a huge issue with being denied service for something that I already paid for. This isn’t the first problem I’ve had with this school but it’s definitely the straw that broke the camels back. The school is poorly run and their is zero communication between the employees. They made my husband late to work as he had to bring them all the way home and they cost me a days worth of work and holiday pay for thanksgiving. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone.
