45 min wait and greasy as hell but still delicious
It was ok not worth an hour drive, don't get ribs
Tasty meat at good price but ribs were over cooked (burnt)
We order the whole hog family meal and our family of 5 is stuffed afterwards. Plenty of leftovers for the next day.
Went there this afternoon and ate outside. Ordered the brisket, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, and slaw. Everything was okay at best. BBQ sauce tasted like ketchup. Brisket very fatty (even for brisket). Ordered online at the same time as someone who called in a similar order and ended up waiting an extra 20-30 minutes. Maybe don't order online? Staff were not great when I asked about the delay. Didn't receive utensils. Outdoor seating is right next to the busy and loud road (which I suppose would not be an issue if the food was good). Much better options are Bear's BBQ in the Hartford area and even Chester's BBQ in Groton. Probably even better to go to something like the Texas Roadhouse.
