I haven't been to Friendly's since I was a kid. I stopped by on a very hot and humid day. I was out walking and need some shade and they let me sit and gave me water. I would recommend this place. The food is good but the ice cream is still great.
While visiting the area, I went here with a party of 16. The staff was extremely helpful in accommodating such a large table (and separate checks for each). The food is slightly above mediocre, but it's still a chain restaurant so leave your expectations elsewhere. The ice cream is also quite scrumptious.
There were about four other tables there, there was one that went in the same time as us, and he got served thirty minutes before us, all while the staff were chit-chatting with that customer. We were in there like 15 minutes before someone even took our order. The food was average but the bathroom was a little... ripe.
Samantha was our server and she was super attentive and friendly!! Food is great and the price is right! Can't go wrong with their Reese's sundae either!! :-)
Incredibly greasy, bland burger. My very first job as a teenager (1970s) food was decent then, several change of hands and it's Clearly obvious corporate got their hands on this establishment . . . Stick to the ice cream that hasn't changed much . . .
