If there were a 0 star rating, that's what it'd be at. These people, River and Sarah Bean, are wage thieves, manipulative and knowingly use inorganic products (their fertilizer) and have for at least 10 years despite their greenwashing namesake. It's understandable to assume these people are fighting the good fight, however that is only because of their carefully curated image and not the actual truth. During my time there as an employee I encountered innumerable instances of wage theft, abusive attitudes, and predatory rent practices. Their produce is subpar, and customer service is non existent. Their grafted apples are from trees dying of phytopthera and bacterial canker. When I brought up this fact, it was met with disdain. For the record, phytopthera is fatal and is, in fact, against regulations to knowingly sell infected plant material. If you have any other option, avoid these people like the plague.

These people are awful and treat their employees like garbage. Please do not buy their food. It will allow more inhumane practices.
