A great big thank you to Otterson Law, especially Tiffany! She is fierce! As with any adoption there are so many things that come up, obstacles, hurdles and just general aggravations. Tiffany let none of these things slow her down at all. She knows exactly how to navigate every situation, she knows the law better than many lawyers and judges and the bottom line is that she gets results! From what I witnessed, she is the very heartbeat of Otterson Law, she is the one that keeps the wheels greased and things running smoothly. Our adoption is now complete and we couldn't be happier ! Thank you Otterson Law! God Bless You , Tiffany and tell your boss to give you a big fat raise!!! We love you!

We had a tough adoption that seemed to drag on with the state. The staff at Otterson Law were tremendously knowledgeable and a huge help to us. The adoption portion was all done quickly and we were very pleased with with their work. We will be using them in the future.

If I could rate them lower I would. Super helpful before you sign the contract and pay. But once that was done the representation was a joke. I’ve seen more professionalism and due diligence in adolescents. We were told many things they later had excuses for.nOpen communication with them was like pulling teeth often requiring many calls, texts, and voicemails, that resulted in responses opening up with an excuse as to the delay.nSome of the papers we received to review for our case had another persons name on it and lots of inaccurate dates and information. After sending this back for edits, and following up on those edits, we received paperwork to sign in front of a notary confirming the accuracy of the information on said forms, in which the requested updates had never been provided.nWe received a phone call about 2 hours before our finalization hearing to be ‘coached’ on what the hearing would look like and be told that it was not an in person hearing, a question we asked about weeks prior. Then during our hearing we found out that the attorney chose to file our paperwork (that he had for 4 months) on our finalization day. Paperwork that the judge clearly needed to see prior to the hearing. Thankfully a ruling was made in our favor pending the paperwork matched up.nThe office said they would be applying for a copy of the new birth certificate on our behalf only for me to call vital records 3 months later and be told that they could not confirm that a request had been received. We took it upon ourselves to apply because at this point we had less than 2 weeks to obtain a social security number, something we addressed with them as a concern months earlier.nOur adoption journey was already a difficult one, but their representation for the homestretch made it super stressful.

Otterson Law office handled the adoptions of my niece and nephew in Alaska. They did a great job addressing all of the concerns and making sure that things were handled well. I am glad to have my niece and nephew in our family thanks to them.

Otterson Law & Mediation just finished the adoption of my daughter, Melissa. They did it during COVID and around all the state closures. I was happy with the communication and also with the timeliness of getting it finished.
