Debbie is hands-down the most patient guitar teacher out there. She tailors the lessons for your individual level and gives you just the right amount of a challenge so you neither get bored from lessons that are too easy nor frustrated from lessons that are too difficult.
I've been taking guitar lessons from Debbie for several months now and hands down she is the BEST instructor I've ever had and I have had four including Debbie. She teaches in a practical, fun way so you can actually improve while having fun. She tailors the lessons to your individual needs and abilities and is always thinking of ways for you to not get bored and learn new skills and styles. I can't say enough good about her as a teacher and as a person and she's nice to boot! She gives thought to the lessons and prepares ahead to make them interesting, a little challenging and worthwhile.
Debbie is the most patient teacher and sweetest personality to work with! She knows so many different styles and is very well rounded with what she can play/teach. Highly recommend her!
I first met Debbie 15 years ago when she began teaching my two girls guitar as a group class she offered, they loved it and one of my girls continued to take lessons from her through high school, 15 years later I wanted to find my youngest son a teacher and to my delight she is teaching him, we both love her as a teacher and mentor, she really encourages him and has taught him so much in 6 months, what a great beginning for him.
If you need a patient, highly skilled, creative teacher, I highly suggest Debbie! She is a great teacher for all ages but is especially good with children.
