Great place, bought some warm mittens. Sad, it will be closing soon. Check it out, you'll find something you love.
I was the only one in the store and the girl at the counter didn't say a word the whole time I was in there. I found a few things and went to pay and she then said their credit card machine isn't working. She also didn't know how to enter a card manually. I didn't have quit enough cash, and they don't accept checks, and she really didn't offer any suggestions or say much. So I left and will not go back.
STILL OPEN!! Friendly owner and very good prices. For some reason google occasionally says they are permanently closed, but that has never been the case. Check their FB page for hours.
Arrogant owner. Good prices because merchandise is cheaply made. Insisted that my Colombian alpaca poncho (called a ruana in Colombia, which he argued) that I purchased in Colombia was made in Ecuador, which it wasn't. Very insulting to contradict potential customers. Will not be returning.
Found a wonderful garment at Value Village in Anchorage. Wore it and loved it and then the dam squirrels ate it when they got in the cabin. The label said Woolies Bellingham Wa. 1975. So googled it and found this site. Womens clothing my ass. Best wool hooded button up I have ever owned. Where can I buy this kind of stuff? Proud cross dressing squirrel killer.
