Gaetano's Market & Deli

I was so thrilled to find a new market with different cuisine in town. I HAD to try their fresh pasta. I was impressed. The portion was so much bigger than I thought! They have an amazing selection of oils and sauces and spices and homemade fresh foods. You can get a sandwich or sausage for a meal right there or snag a lasagna to bake at home for dinner. I will be going back for more pasta!

I went in for the soft opening last week, and purchased some marinara, which was more like a Sunday gravy with large chunks of delicious Italian sausage, and whole meatballs. To DIE FOR!!! We made a quick skillet ravioli lasagna, and I’ve been eating it all week, and I think I could eat it everyday forever! We also got some fettuccine, with which I made an asparagus and Alfredo dish that was also to DIE for, even though I used jarred sauce. We also got some Italian sausages, which shall be served one way or another today. I CAN’T WAIT TO COME BACK!!!

Wonderful traditional sandwiches and the fact they have butter beer makes their presence so much more than important ud83dude02ud83dude02ud83dude02

Roast beef and the italian subs were fantastic! Finally, some good italian meat!

I can highly highly recommend these two gluten free options- the Rustichella d'abruzzo rice penne and Galbusera zero grano crackers from Gaetano's Market and Deli. These crackers are by far hands down the best gluten free I have had, they were delicious with the Oregon growers marion berry habenero jam. Also, the pasta is excellent. It isn't gummy and doesn't fall apart like most alternatives.nnWe also tried a variety of sliced deli cuts, all fabulous. The garlic rosmery sausages are to die for. The baked penne was a hit with my boyfriend. The red sauce was also delicious.nnI guess what I'm saying is that anything from Gaetano's is delicious.. ud83dude01ud83dude01
