El Tapatio Astoria

Good amount of food for the price but the flavors are more Tex Mex than the style of Mexican food we’re used to coming from LA. It’s not bad it’s just a little bland. The carnitas was the best out of all of them.nWe will be back to try some of the other stuff because the deserts and margaritas look amazing.

My husband and I love El Tapatios food. Always delicious. But most importantly the people. The owner Juan is so nice and a real gentleman. Thank you for feeding us to go during these challenging times with the pandemic.

Excellent food and service! The server was really nice even with COVID and they had outside seating available. It was relatively quick for the food to be done and it tasted wonderful! Their salsa was also really great too. Their menu had a wide variety of foods. I would definitely go again.

Absolutely the most disappointing Mexican food I’ve ever had. The margarita tasted like soap and sugar, Taco Bell’s tacos are better than the ones at this place. The tortilla soup had store bought pressed chicken patties cut up and thrown in. I will say that the mushroom ceviche was good.

Incredible food! Epic location. I love that it’s under a massive bridge. Heat lamps for the balcony is a nice touch. Outstanding service! I will be coming back here and if there is another shut down, I will order to go.
