Been curious about this stop. Finally did and was rewarded with a delicious meal. These pleasant, and hearty servings are enclosed in a decent pastry. The ingredients are thought out as they complement each other well, and surprisingly filling! Our group had a bit of nearly everything. Well definitely be returning ud83eudd24

We’ve been here a few times and it’s always great. Being Australian it’s always nice to find a place that does a decent meat pie or pastie. The gravy is a nice touch too. We’ve also had the deserts, everything here is good, you really can’t go wrong. They even bring it out to your car after you order.

I'm Australian, of Cornish heritage, so it's safe to say that I'm something of an expert on pasties. For the uninitiated, a pasty is a pocket of pastry filled with meat, vegetables, potatoes, and spices. I've been living in the United States for several years, and something I have greatly missed was a good pasty. The few times we've found them, they've been disappointing. Driving through Astoria, I noticed this food truck and we decided to give it a try. These are the real deal! Best pasties I have had in years! Absolutely delicious, the pastry is perfect, the ingredients are clearly of a very high quality, and the size is spot on. I had one for lunch and it kept me going the rest of the day. They were so good I went back and bought a couple more to reheat at home in the next few days. The owners were incredibly friendly an accommodating, even to the point they told me to go and wait in my car because it was cold outside, and they brought the heated food to my window. If live in or are passing through Astoria, give this a try - you won't regret it!

Wow. Incredible pasties. Pastry was both flaky but also held up to being hand eaten and not soggy. Packed with flavor. The gravy was really flavorful as well. The two working the truck were entertaining, knowledgeable, and helpful. We fully recommend here.

I tried the tailgater and the gardner. Both were excellent. I appreciate the size of the pasties, which made them enough to fill me up for $8. The crust is amazing and the mac and pulled pork in the tailgater shocked me ( I am quite picky typically on how my pulled pork and mac is, but both worked well together). Definitely recommend these if you are passing through and worth a detour on the way to the beach.
