Oh my gosh what a fabulous find. Authentic all homemade soul food. The shrimp and grits were so cheesy and creamy with perfectly friend shrimp in corn meal batter (I did add a little salt to my shrimp). The fried pickles come in such a large serving we couldn’t finish them, the homemade pickles are amazing with just a hint of a spicy kick. The Apple hush puppies with vanilla honey butter were fresh fried and amazing.

Amazing! New to the area & have been checking out every local spot, without a doubt one of the best! Had the Poboy, chicken & biscuit, plus an extra basket of fries- which were almost a meal in itself. The guy serving us was super friendly & whipped up the food very quickly, even with a steady flow of customers. Highly recommend to locals & travelers.

Absolutely amazing food. I went based on the good reviews already posted and was not disappointed at all. I had the shrimp PO boy and it tasted glorious! Got way more food than I expected. If I ever find myself in Astoria again, this is where I will be going.

The reviews really weren't lying!! Really great food, reasonable prices and portion sizes. The hush puppies, stacked mac and fried pickles are all excellent! Probably the best fried pickle chips I've had besides spears!nnExcellent pick, definitely hit this up when you're in town!

We got the stacked mac and salmon/crab roll and both hit the spot after a day of checking out the sites around the coast. The man running this joint was very friendly, humble and patient while we were deciding what to eat (he was sold out of a lot of items at the time). You can taste the love he put into the dishes. The price for the quality and portion is more than fair. I can't wait to see what he can do with a brick and mortar. Don't forget to tip :) Help support the local economy.
