Saddle Mountain State Natural Area

Gorgeous view today! Although, glad we hit the trail early, it was definitely very packed by the time we got done.

Good hike with great views. Will be going back on a less cloudy day for shots at the top!

A must do trail when in Oregon. Not for young children. Recommend doing the hike late morning or early afternoon, because of the Marine layer. Safer to do during the summer. The trail can be slick the rest of the year. View is astounding. See the coast, Colombia, Hood, etc.

Tough hike, highly recommend hiking poles. Gorgeous views make it worthwhile, make sure to go on a clear day. Get there early as it does get crowded.

Wonderful journey to the top of the mountain with some killer views along the way. Bring water, dont go late in the day because if the sun sets you will be stuck on some dangerous trails. I hiked up ans camped on the summit over night and was visited by a rescue helicopter that circled us closely and gave us a wave
