Tons of parking space and a hundred yards from shore on a soft sandy pathway but only if you do not actually drive onto the sand which is legal.

People drive very fast so walking is nerve wracking. I wouldn't bring kids or pets, since it's like a busy street between your chosen hangout spot & the waterline.nCrowded even on a cloudy cool drizzly day.

Where 4x4s or AWDs can drive on the beach. Many rinse off after by driving thru puddles at the day use parking area during heavy rains. ud83dude09 There are lots of invasive grassey paths to take from that parking area into the woods or to the ocean beach.

Beautiful trails and wildlife but the beach is not safe to walk/picnic on. There are a significant amount of cars speeding and attempting to drift. Lots of tough guy / hick mentality drivers. Some cars drive really fast against the water’s edge which would make it really dangerous for anyone playing there.

Its started to rain, so I might just jump in the van and take a nap!
