Great location with great services nearby. Friendly pilots always about and just a great place to take off/land/or chill out at. If you love seeing unique planes, this is the place to be.

I love KSPB! It’s definitely used for a lot of training activity so the pattern can be pretty crowded at times. I did my first solo flight here so it’ll always have a special place in my logbook. Several instrument approaches which are great for practice.

This airport is always in great shape and well maintained. It get's a lot of use by the local Hillsboro Oregon airport students for touch and goes. Be on the lookout for the usual rogue airplanes not using their radios. And any others that don't have a radio. I've seen the pattern with six airplanes in it at a time. Great prices on full service gas and it's open from sun up to sun down.
