Cool place, lots of easy trails to walk on. Looking forward to visiting again in the spring and summer months!

Gates locked at 5PM. Free for Montana residents, $8 others. Plan on 30 minutes minimum, 3 hours maximum if you read every sign and walk all the trails. Inside there are many interpretive signs and a few artifacts. 2 hours if you read and study everything. Outside are 3 level, wide, well-maintained gravel loop trails which total about 1 hour. A few interpretive signs explaining who, what, where. The trails circle the original camp alongside the river.

Great place to stretch your legs and take a break but not be at a truck stop. Some simply trails (dog friendly) with historical info about the Lewis and Clark expedition that passes though the spot. Kids would love it
