Camas Creek Trailhead

A great hike, more moderate than easy. It's mostly up hill the whole way. Lake is beautiful at the end. There are two other lakes across the ridge but require a bit of bush whacking to get to them.

It's a bit of a drive to get to the trailhead, but the trail is not too bad to hike. The lake is spectacular.

Great easy day hike up to the lake. Took my five year old son and I had to carry him part of the way up and part back. There are some neat crossings on the creek with bridges fashioned from fallen logs with hand rails. We went during the week and only met a few other groups along the way. There are several good camping spots up by the lake if you wanted to do an overnighter. The road has a lot of twists and turns and can be a bit rough but we made it just fine in a front wheel drive car. There's great scenery on the trail and at camas lake with mountains in one direction and views of the valley floor in the other.
