Bear Creek Overlook Trailhead

View is totally worth it! Beware it’s a one car road for 4-5 miles up. Somewhat nerve wracking. Few places to pull to side to let a car pass.I have Asthma, so we took 2 hours getting to the top. 3 miles to top, not 2.25 as suggested by All Trails. Had bear spray if needed. Went in morning, and there were two other cars. Pretty remote, but I enjoyed it. Would recommmend 4 wheel drive and letting someone know you are going. Scenic view is spectacular! And I’m not one for heights! Best bang for your buck in terms of hiking length, difficulty and rewarding view. Moderate difficulty.

Very small parking area. Otherwise great trail and views!

Short but not too steep trail to a beautiful view. Drive up is on a one lane gravel road. Very windy at the peak!

Small parking area at the trailhead. No facilities. View at the overlook was stunning and well worth the hike.
