This is a newly-opened park. It has a lot of trails that walk along side the river. Fishing is good in that area. It could and hopefully will in the future have some picnic tables and a little bit more shade. It does have bathrooms which is good and it does have a bench overlooking the river. It does require your dogs be on a leash but there are poop bags provided and a trash can to put them in.

A small but beautiful setting on the Bitterroot River

Beautiful open views to the west with river side trails and a direct connection to Kiwanis Park!

A beautiful walk to enjoy! We did not see any moose, only where they had been resting. Update, on our second visit, we did catch a moose sighting!

Love the new park! This is a great spot to go for a walk or run with your pup, friends or family. The trail is maintained (mostly mowed grass) and takes you along the river with views of the mountains the whole way. Go to the left for a shorter loop, or go to the right and you’ll make it to River Park.
