Basin Canyon Campground and Picnic Area

It's a bit of a distance from the parking lot to the pavilion. There should be a provision in the rules to allow vehicle access to drop off grills, table & chairs, etc. Then return to parking.nOtherwise it was a great place for a large family picnic.

Not quite the spot it was many years ago - before the need for additional security to protect a valuable water source, but still a nice and quiet getaway close to Butte.

Nice place just to relax and enjoy the mountains

It's a nice quiet place to come maybe have a picnic maybe just sit back and read a book maybe just hang out with your friend so it's nice and quiet.
