Found it late at night desperately looking for an overnight camping spot on a long road trip. Late August and it was already getting pretty cold at night, and a mix of rain and snow fell as I was driving away the next morning.nThere's some old graffiti in places, but the campsites were well appointed and the bathroom was open. The bear box was full of trash so be prepared to clean up after others to stay safe.nnThe area is gorgeous and wildlife was abundant. A moose cow and calf came and ate at the campsite across from me, and I saw deer on the trail on the other side of the stream. Bookmarked the location and hope to come back soon!
Not a good spot. Everyone, ESPECIALLY ANYONE NOT FROM MONTANA, should stay away. P.S. if you're not from Montana, please find your way back to wherever it is you came from. WE DONT WANT YOU MOVING HERE, STAY AWAY.
Very peaceful, there was a slight breeze. Perfect.
This place is so fun for family camping. Highly recommend!
I stopped here to camp with my girlfriend. We were scoping out the sites when we heard aggressive barking coming from up the trail. Just around the corner was a coyote. We scooped up our dog into the car and left immediately. It looked like a really cool spot otherwise.
