We took a trip to Jackson Hole 2 years ago for a ski trip. Our son Gage who was 11 at that time had only skied twice in NC with his family. Gage is also on the Autism Spectrum so we were really nervous about how to help him learn how to ski on a bit more challenging terrain. Fortunately they have an adaptive ski program. It is so AWESOME! Ed and Colt really helped our family enjoy skiing together by teaching Gage, building his confidence while we got to ski with him without the fear he was going to fall off the mountain. Now Gage at 13 is skiing the Blue runs and is determined to ski a Black Diamond one day. I hope we can come back again so he can hit that goal! I can’t even express how grateful we are to Ed and Colt for helping Gage become a confident skier. He has found a sport he truly loves and something we can do together as a family.
So much fun!!!! Goes up to 9000 feet up
Jackson Hole lived up to it's stellar reputation! The terrain was unreal, there's staff everywhere to offer help if you need it, and they were fascistic with how on the ball they are with making sure guests wore masks and struck distancing. I was also pleasantly surprised that meals on the mountain were fairly reasonably priced and not outrageous like you'll find at places like Disneyland or similar.nnOverall, it was an incredible experience and I can't wait to come back again in the future! We even got to see a moose in the middle of a run!
Absolutely wonderful place to ski/snowboard. Lots of varied terrain for the beginner up to the crazy expert!nSeveral pricing models to match your level of adventure. For the beginners you can buy a beginner pass that gives access to the lower half of the mountain, which makes bringing the whole family very reasonable. Been twice in the past two years and we hope to make it an annual event!
Even beautiful in the late summer, early fall.
