Taggart Lake Trailhead

Too smokey here, better to go to RMNP near Boulder CO. The mountains are better in CO anyway.

We did an almost 4 mile snow shoe trekk great view of the mountains and nice trails

We absolutely enjoyed this hike. We walked counter clockwise so that we could enjoy the view of the Tetons on the way to Taggart Lake. This is a busy/popular trail so the advice was to come early or late. We hiked around 3 in the afternoon and it was not too crowded. Taggart Lake was absolutely beautiful and worth the hike.

The hike up to Taggart Lake and back is a beautiful and easy 3.2 mile round trip with great views, many changes in landscape, and not much vertical ascent. Perfect for a family with young children.

Just a short hike to the lake where you can chill and relax. Beautiful and easy trail you can do with the whole family.
