Really pretty and not too crowded during the week. Weekends can get pretty packed. You can't drive up to the lake, but it's a pretty short hike down to it. I would recommend driving up with a truck or SUV because the road can get pretty rough.
Really pretty difficult journey up but definitely worth it.
There was still lots of snow last time I went up there so couldn't make it exactly to this point but as far as I was able to get it was a very nice experience...
Great trail, great views, and a great time. Minus one star because the Forest Service took down the diving plank and swing. I understand why, but it was a cool additional deal.
This hike is amazing! It is a short hike to the lake which is great to swim in (you will need life jackets) and you can also hike past the lake for a ways and it is just a blast
