Absolutely pitiful service. I have been a customer for over 15 years and after 8 phone calls, hours spent on the phone over 2 months, I cannot get them to deliver propane. They are completely incompetent. Use a different propane company if you want any service. I’d give them zero stars if I could.
Worst customer service ever! We tried for 3mos to find out what the summer rate would be to have our 250 gallon filled only to find out after leaving several messages to a “manager” that we won’t get a lower rate in the summer and are penalized because we’re a smaller customer. So after finding that out we decided to cancel our service and had another company come out and replace the tank, with the rate being $1.00 per gallon cheaper. That was a month ago and I have made 3 calls to Amerigas to come pick up their tank and they still haven’t. I’ve explained twice it is sitting at the end of our driveway that gets plowed and will be soon buried under several feet of snow!!
Avoid this company. I am convinced that the tank that I rented from them for 12 years developed a leak. It lost from 70% to 20% in two weeks even with the heater cut off in my airplane hangar. This happened twice. They said they couldn't find a leak. Twice. That was the end of their explanation and concern. I started with them in 2006 when they were V-! Propane. 12 years of being a good customer got me......zilch. Also note that the local Amerigas manager, John Willsey gave himself a 5 star review. I will not use them again.
Friendly, professional service both on the phone and delivery. By far the best price.
