Anytime Fitness

I was thinking about joining at this Anytime Fitness location about a month ago. Had some schedule/travel conflicts come up, so I didn’t actually take the leap. That being said - I totally would have!! The visitor/testing pass process was great - I didn’t feel pressured or deceived at all, which I feel like it kind of common for gyms. The new owner is really friendly and encouraging. I’ll definitely be back!

They are too expensive. I was being charged close to $33 a month. When my contract ended I was charged almost $52. They also charge a ridiculous fee once a year to improve the gym but the gym never improved it’s just a cash grab. Decided that it’s cheaper to buy my own equipment especially after this pandemic. They didn’t even bother to stop charging during the pandemic. A ton of lies about them giving credit at the end of our term but instead I was charged more.

They’re trying to rush reopening the gym in a pandemic that is still ongoing. I get that they’re a business but they’re going to get people sick and they’re probably not going to be responsible for their medical bills. They aren’t even offering people the ability to get out of their membership I even asked and they never got back to me. I regret even signing up to this gym even if my insurance does pay for it. They’re going to put a lot of naive lives in danger.
