Very cool place. The whole area was dry this time of year, but trails crisscross the area to explore the dry pools. There are lots of alcoves and overhangs made from spring minerals.nnThe cave is a bit tight getting in, but not too tough. You can't tell how deep the bottom is until you get there, but its not far. Kids can do it, but adults with mobility issues should pass. The first room is cool and damp, and you can take two tunnels that leave from that first room. The texture and formations on the walls kept us oohing and aweing.nnThe trail continues along a stream. We arrived at a metal bridge with crystal clear water. The kids waded a bit in the stream.nnWould definitely recommend and come again.

Expected more water, but an interesting place.

As a lover of caves, this popcorn cave was small and relatively unimpressive. People have thrown garbage into many of the crevasses, so as you go to investigate into gaps, all you see is garbage. It was actually more fun exploring outside the cave because the rock formations are very unique. Be sure to also take the bird watching trail for a scenic walk.

This is not the most expansive cave I've been to by any means. But I found it absolutely breathtaking! It's almost entirely popcorn formations all over the walls, sometimes 3 feet thick in areas. It's not as closed off as traditional caves--there are naturally formed skylights from outside in several areas that let in light and warm air. Still, there are plenty of tight spaces to crawl around. When you initially come into the cave, it splits off into 3 directions. The right side goes the furthest (we didn't follow it to the end because it got too small for comfort for a few members of the party), but all directions are fun to explore, and there are a few neat offshoots to look into, too. Definitely bring a helmet if you're planning on crawling through the smallest spaces. It's pretty dusty in spots, so coveralls might also be a good idea. Go when there's no chance of rain, because the cave gets a lot of runoff inside it.nPLEASE respect Idaho's beautiful caves and don't graffiti. Pack out what you bring in, and pick up some trash if you can carry it. This is such a beautiful cave, but it won't stay that way if people disrespect it.

Fun cave to check out just off the side of the road! Bring a flashlight or headlamp, the only lighting inside the cave are some occasional roof holes.
