Sumisu | Asian Fusion & Sushi

I rated this on all of my combined experiences I have had with Sumisu. Overall their food is down right delicious! I love the atmosphere and the staff members are amazing. I only have one area I would fix....nTonight I ordered a to-go order. Nothing big....The Tiny Dancer Roll and some Fried Calamari. When I placed the order they said 20-25 min. It took 45 min which still was no biggie, they were busy, I completely understand and I am very patient. But what I was disappointed with was that within my 7 min drive to my house....the Calamari was already cold and hard as if it had been sitting for a long while... warming it up in the microwave only made in chewy, and the Tiny Dancer Roll that was supposed to be fried in tempura was only a little warm and only the 2 end pieces (out of 13) even had tempura on it? My only advice is to not order carry out....just go in. :) Some things are just better tasting when it is hot and fresh! ud83dude0b This is a learning experience on my end. Don't let this review detour you from dining here, as it truly is an amazing place to eat. Just wanted to give a heads up.

This was genuinely the best meal ive ever eaten. The waitress was so sweet, the food was amazing, and I got to see my best friends try fish roe. 10/10 absolutely superb

They excel at their sushi and you can never go wrong with their Bento box meals. Do they get it perfect every time? Not exactly when you have different cooks with their own style, but they will do what they can to make it right for you.

Drove by to eat lunch, hours on doors are wrong. Not open for lunch. Only dinner. They need to update their door hours.nnWe def will have dinner there! We had takeout and loved it. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully in the future we can look forward to lunch times again!!

Highest quality fish in town, hands down. The rolls are unique and flavor combinations work well without trying too hard. Definitely get the Oshi Zushi, the touch of lemon can't be beat!
