This KOA was awesome! We had so much fun here. The staff is fantastic. The campground was very clean and well maintained. We stayed in spot 37. It was a back in space that backed up to the river. We enjoyed star gazing, fire pit, and taking some great walks. The entire town is MEGA dog friendly, they are allowed in almost all of the stores and they are freely walking the street. There is a grocery store around the corner from the KOA office (a little pricey, but if you forget something, it is there). This was one of the more relaxing trips we have taken in a while. Just laying back outside in the sun listening to the river was so peaceful

What a horrible experience! After driving from Salt Lake (140 miles), we pulled into our spot that was a huge mud pit with the fireplace covered in snow and no patio. It would have been miserable enough for my husband and me, but we have two labs that would have been covered-not to mention the mess that would have been made in our camper. We asked to change spots. The kid in the office gave my husband five spots to choose from. Four of them would only fit a tent or very small camper (ours is a 37’ 5th wheel.) The other spot was great. We pulled in, got totally set up and went to the office to let them know what spot we chose. The kid then proceeded to tell my husband that he didn’t know we were staying two nights and someone was in the spot the next day. He then said that those folks were actually coming in today for an early check in. Unbelievable. My husband asked them to just refund our money. They would not refund the total amount. What horrible customer service. We will not return to West KOA. Heading home.nn**Update** The owner called on Monday and apologized for our experience. She also refunded ALL of our money.

No complaints. Ducks kept the kids occupied. It's right on the river. Trains are noisy but that will be the case anywhere in this small canyon. They run every hour or two. Walking distant to pool, and shops. Hot tubs are a few blocks away.

Great central location, easy walking distance to everything. The Laundry and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Kamp canine was small but the grass was well maintained and clean. The newer RV patio sites were very nice. I would not recommend the older dirt sites.nnThere is lots to do from swimming to tubing to soaking in the hot springs. Recommended especially for families.
