This is a very comfortable spacious hotel that takes you back to what I would assume the early 1900s were. All the rooms were completely renovated by Matt & Karen to reflect the era they were originally built without the size constraints... :)nThe rooms are big and the bathrooms have cool claw foot tubs and walk in showers there are done really well.nnThe hospitality of Karen & Matt is beyond amazing. They are great hosts who you will definitely see and talk to. They genuinely care about all their guests.nnA trip to Clifton just to stay at the Clifton Hotel is well worth it.nnFor those who know the hotel from a certain show..... My wife and I didn't have any ghostly visitors while there.nnThanks for the great stay Karen & Matt!!!! We'll be backnnOne word of caution... don't roll your ankle in high heels on the bottom landing.... :)

Matt and Karen are the perfect host to this beautiful renovated hotel. Absolutely stunning. The rooms are so big and roomy. It's like you have stepped back in time when you enter this hotel. They have worked hard restoring this hotel. I was there with friends and everyone had a wonderful stay. Relaxing, elegant and beautiful.nnI will be back in April with people from my tour and we have booked all the rooms. I want everyone to see how spectacular this place is. And meet Matt and Karen. So kind, friendly and helpful.nnI was there scoping out the town for my Haunted Arizona Tour in April and was extremely pleased with the whole town and the nicest people you would ever want to meet.nnAs far as the Clifton Hotel, I would stay there again and again.

I love Arizona! I love the industrial west, it’s really fascinating here. Karen and Matt at the Clifton hotel and bar treated us like family! We spent a wonderful amount of time in the park across the street and down by the rivers edge. We found a natural hot spring and the kids put their feet in even though it’s sweater weather. Karen and Matt provided yummy home cooked dinner at very humble cost and we got take away from PJ’s for lunch and ate on the hotel patio. If you love a quiet town that speaks volumes in its history, beautiful canyon views and maybe some paranormal activity then you will not be disappointed!

Quaint historic hotel in the heart of historic Clifton. Matt and Karen are charming hosts who are painstakingly renovating this gem of a place. The room had been recently renovated with a beautiful rainfall shower. The bar and restaurant were closed due to covid, but they look like they would be fantastic. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Oasis in the desert. What a great place. Owers are super nice. Our room was not what I expected. Open floor plan with an amazing bathroom. The bathroom has a walk in shower with a raining shower head. My wife enjoyed the clawfoot tub. And at night was very quite and very dark. Had a damn good sleep. Haven't drank from the bar, but I want to tonight along with using the pool tables. Clifton just got a little better for me.
