High Desert Cafe

One of my favorite places to eat at- I look forward to it every time we are passing through Monticello.nThe food is amazing and fresh, and the atmosphere is so unique and fun! You can pass the time while waiting for your order by looking through all the neat trinkets they have for sale.nI recommend the restaurant to everyone that is passing through the area! Can't wait to be back.

The 2 girls that worked there were pretty rude. There wasn’t any nice customer service. I hope who ever manages this place definitely trains them to have some greeting skills. I went in excited only to leave the place with a complaint. The cashier was rude as well as the other girl who gave us our food. All we got was here’s your food and she left without a have a great day attitude. If you’re not willing to to be nice to who you’re serving, maybe customer service isn’t for you. I always tip servers but not this place. I don’t think I’ll be going back again.

A regular stop for my family! We love stopping here every time we're in town. They have the best sandwiches and wraps, and their breakfast bagels are to die for!

We really wanted to like this place especially since it was the only place we could find open for breakfast. I had Sweet Cream Pancakes with Blueberries and they were not cooked all the way through...raw batter inside! He had eggs, sausage & hash browns. The sausage was tasteless and the hash browns were not even browned! Besides all that, the prices seemed awfully high. Guess it’s supply & demand. Wish we could say better, but it was pretty bad. Maybe it was just an off day.

Easily some of the best food I've ever had, made by some of the best people, in one of the prettiest places in the world. 10 outta 10 would recommend
