San Antonio Riverine Park

Not a bad place to stop for a few days. Just keep in mind it's dry camping so come prepared. Supplies can be found in socorro. Cows come around randomly so careful not to step on some poop. If you have solar, exposure to sunlight is limited due to the trees but still doable. Train nearby but was not much of a bother, I only heard it twice a day. 8am and 10pm if I'm not mistaken. Some trails nearby to get to the river. Also the spots had 2 types of fire rings.

Nice little overnight park. Not particularly clean but also not dirty. No host. But, it's free!! Bare minimum on amenities but heck, it's free.

Good site if your rig is 30 feet or smaller. even then, I'd be cautious. I wouldn't bring anything longer than 25 feet down the S-T-E-E-P hill that leads into the 6 or so sites. We instead went just west (literally 20 feet) on the opposite side of the water and parked at a little firepit spot.

Nice place, now camper maintained ?nI had fun cutting back some of the brush. We can make this place nicer by ourselves :-)nWho needs the govt to do it when we can, and better.
