Winsor Trailhead

Beautiful spot for a walk in the winter wonderland. Lots of hikes to do out here, make sure to look at a map and know where you are going. Trail is not really that steep, if you know what hiking is and how steep it can really get. Make sure to bring all that you need for the scope of your adventure, life is real in nature

We hiked from here to Nambe lake. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the last third of the hike, which follows the creek that flows out of the lake, is not very well-marked. But... it follows the creek, so you can't get too lost.nnA moderate hike overall, the last third is fairly steep. Not many good vistas along the way but once you get to the lake it's spectacular!

The forest is very unhealthy right now. Lots of fallen Aspens.

Beautiful trail. Lots of choices. I went to nambe lake. It's a tough hike but beautiful with waterfalls toward the top. Friendly people, quite a few hikers but that's good if you are hiking solo!

Everything about this trail is amazing. Not a single mile is boring. Incredible views friendly hikers, great camping.
