Cimarron Canyon Maverick Campground

Nice little place but it's always too packed. Just when the fishing gets good the camp hosts comes around and kicks everyone out.

Really pretty place to go. Nice little ponds and the fishing wasn't bad. The river is right behind the ponds so there are plenty of spots to fish.

Wonderful park. We stopped and walked around and looked at the people fishing and Wonderful fall colors.

Love Maverick Campground! The fishing was amazing. Pond was stocked on the day of my arrival. Hosts were friendly and so helpful! The weather here is so nice. Not too hot(70s) with cool nights. There are hiking trails all around this campground. I love mushroom hunting and was visiting mid August. The mushrooms were everywhere. This location is one of my new favorite camp sites.

Fabulous Campground! Great hosts and large campsites. Lake for fishing is nestled in the massive Ponderosa pines.
