Only had coffee. Young lady working there had a great attitude and made a great cappuccino! I had no idea I was drinking a starbucks roast, and I don't like Starbucks!

I don’t know what happened to this place. I’ve been coming here for years and the prices have gotten higher while the quality has taken a nosedive. Back a couple years ago it was $2.00 for a large cup of coffee with $.50 refills. Now it’s $3.50 for a large cup of coffee with no refills. What the heck?! That’s more than Starbucks. Their breakfast burritos and sandwiches have also gone up in price (an increase of $2.00 in some cases) but their quality has gone down. They are smaller burritos and the sandwiches taste stale and a few days old. The pastries are still okay but they are pastries and I don’t think they’re made on site. Anyway, I am a local so The Lift was always a nice retreat before work or for lunch but it’s definitely not worth it anymore. Angel Fire more and better options these days so it’s a hard pass for me. I’m afraid they’ll probably stay open because of the resort but sorry to say they really shouldn’t.

Visiting for Military Winterfest. Placed a large order. Almost $70 for six of us. We asked for 3 veggie burritos and 2 sausage burritos. After about a 20 minute wait we were given ONE veggie burrito and two veggie sandwiches. The girl told us they were out of the veggie burritos. When asked if they were the same price she just walked away. (They're not the same price.) All of the food was cold. Bad service. Decent coffee. Food would be pretty good if properly heated. Other options are just down the road. Don't waste your time or money.

The food is good, especially for coming off skiing for a few hours. The bar has a good selection of drinks, beer on tap, in bottles/cans, and mixed drinks. There isn't much space and when the slopes are busy, you'll need to fight for a place to sit/stand.
