Gem of a coffee shop! As an owner of a coffee shop I am pretty picky but let me tell you why I LOVED this place!! First off, all manual grinding and pulling of shots. No automatic machines!! The coffee is superb, not bitter and not too weak! I would assume the owner was the one making my coffee and she was super friendly! If I could I'd give 10 stars!!!
Stopped in here looking for some good coffee after staying at a hotel that had slim offerings. The guy at the counter was super friendly, our lattes were everything we wanted them to be, and the barista made an excellent recommendation for a breakfast burrito place in town when he realized he was out. Will stop here for coffee any time we are in Salida.
The aztec coffee is delicious! Do yourself a favor and grab a breakfast burrito and cheese/berry danish. Soo good we went twice during our stay in Colorado!
Tasty snacks, good drinks in a comfy place with great service.
Always a must when I'm passing through Salida on on my way to Monarch! Also, check out the food truck in the parking lot...great, hot breakfast for the drive up the pass!
